The study also seeks to provide regional recommendations tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of the SUCs in these regions based on the state of digital transformation that they are in at the current time. Based on the detailed findings of the study, here are revised recommendations for each region, including reasons based on their specific strengths and weaknesses:
For Region IX, given its full integration of digital transformation in main campuses, SUCs shall focus on extending this success to satellite campuses through improved policy dissemination and training. Likewise, the SUCs of the region shall prioritize digital skill development and leverage the region's established digital governance to expand digital skills training for faculty and students, ensuring consistent digital competency. They are also expected to strengthen stakeholder involvement – with solid governance structures, SUCs are expected to enhance stakeholder participation in digital initiatives to ensure sustained progress and adaptability.
For Region X, SUCs are strongly encouraged to advance their research capabilities by harnessing their lead in infrastructure and teaching methodologies to develop more advanced digital research resources and collaborative tools. They are also encouraged to strengthen their digital literacy programs further by addressing the need for faculty training in digital pedagogies, leveraging the region's infrastructure strengths. Finally, SUCs in the region are recommended to improve digital integration on satellite campuses. They shall focus on extending the region's successful digitalization efforts to satellite campuses, ensuring equitable access to digital resources.
For Region XI, the SUCs are encouraged to strengthen their infrastructures by investing in modern digital infrastructure to support a comprehensive digital learning environment. They are further recommended to foster digital research development by improving research capabilities, mainly focusing on areas lagging in digital adoption. Finally, Region XI SUCs are encouraged to streamline support systems by enhancing digital systems in administrative and logistical processes to improve operational efficiency.
For CARAGA, to include further building or leveraging strong digital governance to integrate digital transformation into educational and administrative processes. SUCs are likewise encouraged to also focus on faculty and staff digital training, as these address the digital skills gap. Finally, SUCs are encouraged to expand digital research tools and promote innovative research methods as they strengthen the region's research capabilities.
Lastly, for BARMM, the SUCs are collectively encouraged to prioritize developing and modernizing digital infrastructure to address major and satellite campuses' deficiencies. They must implement clear and consistent digital transformation policies to ensure regional uniformity. Finally, SUCs aim to develop targeted support systems for satellite campuses, focusing on overcoming geographical and resource constraints to facilitate digitization.
